I’ve always been a doodler. Ever since I could hold a pencil, I’ve been sketching away on any surface I could find—school notebooks, the backs of receipts, even the occasional wall (sorry, Mum!). These little drawings were more than just idle scribbles; they were tiny pieces of my imagination that would one day become T-shirts Taboo.

The Birth Of T-shirts Taboo

But for years, these doodles remained just that—doodles. I never imagined they could become something more, something that others would love and wear. It wasn’t until early 2024, in a quiet moment of reflection while I was waiting for a knee replacement, that I realized my doodles deserved a bigger stage. They deserved to be seen, to be worn, to tell a story. And that’s how T-Shirts Taboo was born.

The idea was simple: to create bold, unique t-shirts that resonate with people’s personalities, passions, and quirks. I wanted to design shirts that would make people smile, laugh, and feel connected. Whether it’s a vintage-style Mickey Mouse tee that takes you back to 1928 or a shirt that boldly states what you’re thinking, each piece is a little slice of my creativity—crafted with care and a touch of mischief.

Starting T-Shirts Taboo has been a whirlwind of excitement and challenges. I began with just a few designs—funny quotes, some sports tees, and a couple of state-themed shirts. But as I got deeper into the process, I realized there was so much more I wanted to create. Halloween designs started dancing through my mind, then Christmas ideas followed. Soon, I was imagining entire collections for different cities, states, and even some that bring back the magic of iconic characters from the past.

What drives me the most is knowing that each t-shirt isn’t just another piece of clothing—it’s a canvas, a conversation starter, a little piece of art that you get to wear. I’m constantly inspired by the feedback I get from customers. When someone tells me they love their shirt or that it made their day, it feels like I’m sharing a bit of joy, one tee at a time.
